BES Intern Role Overview Join our team as a BES Intern, supporting warehouse process optimization, map layout designs, and maintain process documentation. Collaborate closely with warehouse staff and leadership to identify improvement opportunities and align with operational standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Assist with documenting process layouts at Winston-Salem warehouse.
- Shadow warehouse associates to understand work content, task sequence, and pain points.
- Meet regularly with warehouse manager to align on objectives and priorities for layout and process improvements.
- Draft and maintain the warehouse layout in Visio or similar tools.
- Ensure all process and layout documents are accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards.
Required Qualifications - Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma a plus.
- Visio or Dynamic Process Mapping a plus.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn and self motivated.
- Must enjoy talking with people in small and large settings.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, such as Word and Excel.
Compensation and Benefits - $16-$21 an hour.
- Starting hourly pay for this position is set based on location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will share more about the specific pay range for this position during the interview process.
