Recruiter / Staffing Coordinator – Healthcare Staffing and Homecare

Location: On-site (In-Person Position)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM or 9: 00 AM – 6: 00 PM


POSITION SUMMARY

Nurses and More is seeking a highly motivated Recruiter / Staffing Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, in-person role. This dynamic position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient office operations by handling recruiting, scheduling, intake coordination, and administrative functions that support our healthcare staffing and homecare services.

The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and driven, with prior experience in healthcare staffing or homecare recruitment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant employee files, verifying credentials, certifications, and background checks.
  • Schedule staff in coordination with client needs; organize home care personnel schedules.
  • Document referral calls, job orders, and assist in fulfilling client staffing requirements.
  • Place advertisements for open positions and monitor candidate pipelines.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, payroll, and collections as needed.
  • Promote agency services through education to prospective and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the Client Service Supervisor on compliance and operational standards.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, local regulations, JCAHO requirements, and agency policies.
  • Input on process improvement, cost-efficiency strategies, and staff recognition programs.
  • May have access to Personal Health Information (PHI) to perform job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
  • Recent experience in recruitment/staffing required, preferably in healthcare staffing, homecare, or in-home health.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare background is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications; willing to learn agency-specific systems.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Indeed, Oracle Taleo, and candidate screening software.
  • Familiarity with home care/staffing software such as ContinuLink and CRM platforms like Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of human resources principles including recruitment, benefits, training, and labor regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to work independently.
