Overview

Nurses and More is hiring a MRI Technologist for evening shift coverage at high-quality imaging facilities. This flexible, agency-based role offers a premium hourly wage, strong support, and the opportunity to work across a variety of outpatient or hospital settings.

Your Responsibilities

• Complete patient MRI safety screenings and obtain necessary history
• Position patients for MRI scans and ensure a calm, reassuring experience
• Operate upright, wide-bore, mobile, and standard MRI systems per physician protocols
• Administer IV contrast agents when ordered, following clinical guidelines
• Monitor and adjust scan parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Use PACS to store and transmit images accurately
• Enter exam data and codes into the EMR system, ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians, APPs, and imaging support staff
• Follow all safety regulations for magnetic environments and patient care
• Support workflow flexibility and take on additional tasks as needed

What You Need to Qualify

• Completion of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT Certification in MRI (or Rad Tech with MRI registry eligibility)
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (must be in-person)
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Tech in clinical environments
• Proficiency with PACS, EMR, and imaging protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
