Schedule: Monday – Friday, must be available between 7: 30 AM – 5: 00 PM EST
Job Type: Full Time | Part Time | Contract | PRN
Pay Rate: Starting at $45/hour

Overview

Nurses and More is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technician (IV Rad Tech) to join our healthcare team. This role involves hands-on imaging procedures, patient care, and close collaboration with physicians in a supportive, fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, review medical histories, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout imaging.
  • Position patients correctly for fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
  • Adjust and operate C-arm fluoroscopic equipment during procedures in coordination with physicians.
  • Administer diagnostic X-rays and contrast agents as prescribed.
  • Adjust equipment settings, determine proper exposure, and apply immobilization and shielding protocols.
  • Operate and document images in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems, including proper coding.
  • Follow HIPAA regulations and internal clinical processes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, and care coordinators.
  • Promote a positive work culture through teamwork and professionalism.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
  • Execute additional duties as needed based on patient flow and physician direction.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional or Diagnostic Radiologic Tech experience
  • Current ARRT Certification
  • CPR Certification (in-person only; no online-only)
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in clinical settings
