Northwestern Mutual is hiring a Financial Planning Coordinator in Raleigh, NC. This is a full-time position.

The Berry Network Office of Northwestern Mutual is seeking a Financial Planning Coordinator who works with financial representatives to deliver financial security to their clients through a comprehensive planning process that integrates risk and investment products. Coordinators help financial representatives increase productivity by providing planning and integrated operations support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with assigned representativesPrepare integrated plans using software (PX and Illustration System)Prepare investment proposalsPrepare annual review informationReview and submit applications for insurance and investmentsActively manage underwriting process and regularly follow up on outstanding requirementsPrepare policies for delivery and obtain Policy Delivery AcknowledgementsProcess any services requests including policy changes, beneficiary designations and EFT drafts QUALIFICATIONS Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levelsLife/Health and Long-Term Care licenses desired or willingness to obtain in first 90 daysAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalismEffective organization and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skillsStrong attention to details and accuracyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take independent action to make sound decisionsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeCommitted to professional development (e.g., licensing, registration, designations)Willingness to obtain additional financial services licensing within 1 year EDUCATION Bachelor's degree required plus 2 years of related experience and/or training
