ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands on supervision of the maintenance department employees and ensure overall quality of the department’s projects.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Durham, NC

Monday-Friday 7: 30 AM – 4 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct supervision of all maintenance employees, including custodial staff. Safety minded at all times for surroundings and coworkers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have specialized skill/knowledge in preventive maintenance in a production environment, plus excellent mechanical aptitude, and strong electrical and plumbing knowledge and experience.
  • Experience and understanding of both low and high voltage electrical components and systems.
  • Have ability to trouble shoot and repair equipment quickly keeping downtime to a minimum.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics a big plus.
  • Supervisory skills. Good math and reading skills. Stand and walk for more than two-thirds of each shift. Computer literate.
  • Able to handle multiple issues during the same time frame, while remaining calm and focused.
  • Active team player, not afraid to get hands dirty.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Willing to accept advice as well as offer solutions and guidance to problems and issues.
