ABOUT LCI

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Material Handler II plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by performing a wide range of material handling, inventory, and logistics tasks. This position contributes to efficient shipping and receiving processes, ensures accurate inventory control, and assists in coordinating daily workflow activities. The role also provides support to supervisors by helping lead operations, training team members, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Durham, NC

Monday-Friday 7: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of materials.

  • Lead shipping and receiving operations
  • Receive & put-away of inventory
  • Pick, pack, and process orders
  • Stage & load orders
  • Inventory & order auditing; including cycle counts
  • Operate powered and manual material handling equipment.
  • Promote and maintain a clean & safe work environment inside and outside the facility.
  • Audit, record, and report transactions
  • Monitor, research, resolve & report inventory discrepancies
  • Assist supervisor in day to day operations, prioritizing of tasks, and work flow
  • Assist other departments when needed.
  • Perform Quality Assurance Audits
  • Lead training and cross training efforts
  • Assist & maintain, lot control, and traceability requirements
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift Certification preferred. Previous RF experience preferred. Sense of urgency.
