Description:
Perform four major functions including mattress renovation, mattress assembly, packaging mattresses and making neoprene mattresses.

Must be able to communicate with manager and co-workers.
Direct supervision consists of checks by the Mattress Department Manager every one to two hours during each shift.
Some education with basic reading and math skills.
Requires the ability to stand and walk for the entire shift. Requires the ability to bend from the waist to retrieve raw materials from pallets at ground level. Must be able to lift a 100lb. mattress, and carry it to a nearby work station, repeatedly throughout shift. Must be able to reach high enough to carry one mattress overhead.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but hearing protection may be required depending on the department where the employee is assigned.
