The GET (Global Engineering & Technology) organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems solutions. We operate in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) and in partnership with key internal/external network.
Transend is a Johnson & Johnson global initiative to migrate and standardize all ERP (enterprise Resource Planning) and APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) systems to SAP S/4HANA. For the Janssen Biotech – Wilson, NC facility, we will migrate the maintenance module from SAP Sustain and create / upload the rest of the site’s master data and planning and scheduling tools directly to SAP 4 HANA.
We are searching for the best talent for the Project Lead -Transend, located in Wilson NC!
The Project Lead will be responsible for designing, communicating and implementing an operational plan for completing Transend initiative during the Janssen Biotech – Wilson, NC project phase. During regular commercial production, the incumbent prepares and designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops and gathers the necessary resources to complete the project. Could also prepare engineering standards, designs and work specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads all aspects of all on-site Business process preparation activities and coordinates with the BPO MAKE team, functional leads, and site teams and during deployment with Deployment lead.
Leads the on-site project team (i.e., Business Adoption Lead, Functional Site Leads) and act as the point of contact for the Site Leadership Team regarding site specific topics.
Understand End- to- End Process at a manufacturing site
Understands program timeline (process workshops, PI Increment sprints, Testing, Training) and manages resource availability.
Owns the site-specific project plan for business projects & Transcend.
Coordinates all Change Impacts and takeaways with the Business Adoption Lead during deployment
Holds engagement sessions with peers to listen, understand difficulties, report back to the program team, and continually keep “pulse”.
Understands how people, processes, systems and data interact at a site
Manage capacity plan to ensure key resources cover all shifts for priority activities (i.e., testing, training, cutover, release)
Lead site-specific Hypercare activities
Report issues & bright spots
Monitors process adoption and value attainment
Advises GET leadership team on project plans, key milestones, and objectives, to ensure deliverables are aligned with customer’s operational needs and requirements.
Identifies any Project Engineering non-conformance and subsequent corrective and preventive actions, by documenting, investigating, and conducting root cause analysis, and successfully executing corrective actions.
Prepares and reviews capital and expense forecasts for assigned engineering projects, to ensure outputs adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Performs process validations on Project Engineering processes for subsequent operational integration and supply chain implementation.
Communicates and escalates in a timely manner, any Project Engineering issues or concerns to the next management level.
Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelors degree; Focused degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
6+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environment or in a manufacturing facility using SAP as their Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).
Strong analytical skills to synthesize business needs, manufacturing requirements, engineering elements, and technology inputs, etc. into business solutions.
Strong working knowledge of cGMP’s in an FDA regulated environment.
The ability to lead and/or support multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail and goal oriented, teamwork, customer-focus, detailed understanding of GMPs and regulatory requirements.
Influencing skills, partnering and teamwork skills, analytical skills, conflict and risk management skills, critical thinking and excellent oral and written presentation skills are required.
Preferred:
Experience leading an ERP/CMMS system transition.
Experience in green or brown field GMP MFG facility start-up including process systems, automation, utilities, facilities, and operations.
FPX or PMP certification
Other:
Ability to travel up to 50% domestic and international travel; typical travel around 15%.
