DONOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST INTERNSHIP Department: Resource Development Job Title: Donor Relations Intern Reports to: Resource Development Director The Organization: Homeward Bound of WNCs mission is preventing and ending homelessness through permanent housing and support. Position Overview: The Donor Relations Specialist supports both the logistical and stewardship aspects of fundraising for Homeward Bound by building and maintaining positive relationships with donors to encourage continued support for the organization. This position is a detail and process-oriented role. The Donor Relations Specialist processes all monetary gifts received, ensures donors are acknowledged in a timely manner, reports on fundraising progress within the organization, and stewards low-mid level donors. This role is responsible for ensuring the donor database is used to the best of its ability for Resource Development initiatives, working closely with the Communications Specialist to ensure solicitations and other messages are distributed appropriately and accurately. The role serves as the main point of contact for annual fund donors and must have strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. As part of the Resource Development team, the Donor Relations Intern is a part-time hourly position at 20 hours/week. Compensation for this position is $24.15/hour.
