Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

As a Sales Development Rep, you will be instrumental in supporting the branch to attain its business plan through profitable revenue generation. The Sales Development Rep will work side by side with our outside sales team . During this structured training program, the SDR will work in a program designed to develop the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to move into the Territory Sales Representative role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Development of Sales Skills: Customer interaction, quoting, negotiating, stages of construction and subcontractor understanding/acquisition
  • Revenue Generation: Call on dormant customers, jobsite, office and fragmented call schedules, new account generation and tracking of revenue generation.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Gain understanding of fleet offering and application, equipment demonstration and training.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

An associate's degree in a related field with a t least six months of experience as an Inside Sales Rep or prior experience in the construction rental equipment business or an equivalent combination of education and e xperience.

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
