Where You'll Spend Time Assisting customers in person, by phone, and through digital channels Processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and account maintenance requests Managing cash transactions and balancing cash drawers accurately Supporting branch operations, including ATM balancing, vault activities, and documentation processing Educating customers on products and services that fit their financial needs Assisting with online banking services and customer account support Partnering with branch teammates and business partners to provide an exceptional customer experience Work is performed in a customer-focused environment that values teamwork, service excellence, accuracy, and professionalism. What You'll Do (Highlights) Deliver exceptional customer service through every interaction Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, official checks, stop payments, and wires Maintain and balance cash drawers, vaults, and ATM cash when applicable Support account maintenance and customer service requests Assist with training and support of Universal Banker I team members Educate customers on products, services, and digital banking solutions Make referrals to business partners when opportunities arise Support branch audits, documentation review, and operational controls Assist branch leadership and teammates in achieving branch goals and maintaining excellent service standards Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of banking experience Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Relevant computer and technology skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Preferred Some college coursework or degree JHA SilverLake experience Previous experience with branch operations, cash handling, and customer account servicing Experience identifying customer needs and making appropriate referrals Why Community Bankers Choose First Carolina Bank Banking is ultimately about people.
