Responsible for independently managing and coordinating all internal activities required for the development and approval of all matters pertaining to contracts and pricing for assigned customers. Responsibilities also include membership segmentation, pricing optimization, implementation and monitoring of contract compliance programs. Supports Market Access organization with customer pricing inquiries and resolves customer pricing/membership issues. Strong interpersonal skills are required to create cross functional relationships with both internal (Sales Management, Corporate Accounts, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance and Customer Service/Master Data) and external (decision makers, persons of authority, and/ or facility administrators representing GPOs, IDNs, facilities in addition to sales distributors) stakeholders to support the development and implementation of contract agreements and pricing.
What you'll be doing- Point of contact for Market Access, Sales Directors, Regional Account Managers, Customer Service and Master Data on all inquiries related to customer contract alignment, contract/pricing policies, price inquiries, or other contract terms & conditions
- Manage and coordinating all internal activities required for the development and approval of all matters pertaining to contracts and pricing for assigned customers
- Add and remove customer information related to GPO membership within our system environments to ensure accurate customer data and overall GPO membership base
- Conduct comprehensive contract audits, ensuring proper customer master management and compliance of GPO members
- Collaborate with commercial and non-commercial teams to enhance the GPO customer experience and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Review pricing requests to ensure compliance with Bioventus pricing policies and compliance with existing contracts
- Execute list/class-of-trade price changes as approved by pricing committee
- Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and identify changes requiring resolution at contract renewal
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance Bioventus pricing to meet evolving needs of the business
What you'll bring to the table- BA or BS degree required.
- 2+ years of general business experience - experience in a pricing capacity with pricing and contract administration preferred.
- Superior analytical, data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to articulate issues and ideas to all levels of the organization and provide meaningful insight to support decision makers. Must have excellent verbal communication and business writing skills.
- Ability to think critically about proposed programs or process changes; determine downstream effects of changes and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to review an inquiry and prioritize, understanding which situations require urgency.
- Demonstrate initiative by balancing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and meeting deadlines, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently in a dynamic environment; self-starter who knows and understands work requirements and proceeds with minimal supervision
