Accounting Associate –Rental Contract Coordinator & Accounts Receivable

Position Summary

ALL Carolina Crane & Equipment in Raleigh seeks a motivated individual to act as an Accounting Associate to coordinate Rental Contracts, and process Accounts Receivable. This is a full-time, non-exempt position in a casual office environment. Contract Administration, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and/or Collections experience is a definite plus

Essential Functions

  • Provide excellent customer service by phone or email
  • Maintain up-to-date account billing and invoicing
  • Collection and reporting activities
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Coordinate communications between customers, sales force, Dispatch, and affiliated branches to ensure the on-time delivery of cranes, support equipment, and other lift equipment.
  • Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
  • Submit billing and payroll information to other departments.
  • Obtain required lease agreements and insurance verification
  • Assist in setting up new customers
  • Processing of credit applications
  • Prepare, review, file and organize all company contracts and insurance documents
  • Coordinate and review rental contracts and insurance requirements as required in cooperation with management and corporate legal department
  • Maintain computer database for the contract management and insurance certificate system
  • Coordinate with other Departments for the
  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries
  • Various administrative tasks such as processing documents, faxing, filing and data entry
  • Assist in other activities and duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Rental Contracts, Lien releases, OCIP/CCIP filings, and Prequalification packages highly desired
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and operate office equipment and technology
