Open role: Legal Analyst

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Type: Full-time employment contract

The Responsibilities & the Impact YOU Will Have:

  • Perform in-depth research for records related to various legal inquiries, primarily concerning tender law.

  • Collaborate daily with the tender department, providing legal support, verifying contracts, and conducting regular training sessions.

  • Research, compile data, and prepare complex reports for internal customers and external agencies.

  • Evaluate research and data requests to identify legal trends.

  • Establish and manage records retention and disposition policies and schedules.

  • Advise internal customers on legal document management requirements.

  • Help triage internal and external customer requests.

  • Investigate and assess technology and operational areas for email archiving, document management, records management, searching, and other applications.

  • Review reports or databases of legal information for accuracy and completeness.

  • Draft and execute complex legal documents under supervision of the Legal Director, such as contracts, settlement agreements, correspondence, and reports.

  • Prepare agreements, procedures, applications, POAs, resolutions, and other legal documents required in the company, as well as support preparation of pleadings relating to litigation and non-litigation matters.

  • Attend mediations, court conferences, and trials as a company representative, within the limits of the assigned POA and under the supervision of the Legal Director.

  • Conduct legal tasks acting as a liaison between in-house counsel, outside counsel, affiliate companies, and other parties.

  • Identify and coordinate interactions with witnesses, consultants, and experts.

  • Negotiate with and direct outside contacts, including outside counsel, local and international governmental agencies (including law enforcement), representatives of other companies within the industry, trade associations, and other parties as needed, always under the instructions and supervision of the Legal Director.

  • Deliver training and reports related to your specialty area to employees, outside counsel, government agencies, and third parties.

We Would Love to Hear from YOU, If You Have:

  • A law degree (legal counsel or advocate training started – a plus).

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of tender corporate law and procedures.

  • A good understanding and an open mind for competition law.

  • A good understanding and experience in consumer law.

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience acquired in a leading law firm and/or law department, with preferred experience in tender law issues of a multinational corporation.

  • Very good proficiency in English skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Prepared to speak up, present, and actively participate in business and legal discussions.

  • Openness to challenges and a constant learning process.

  • Ability to navigate discussions with confidence and resilience when faced with differing opinions or challenges from others.

  • Understanding of how to approach difficult situations, negotiate thoughtfully, and communicate positions in a professional and constructive manner.
