We are looking for a Country Medical Affairs Director for our affiliate in Poland:
Overall purpose of the role:
Role of Medical Affairs Director is to provide strategic input and medical guidance to the local leadership team of which this role is a member. This role is accountable for all medical activities of the operating company to be in-line with the overall company and corporate strategy and will ensure compliance with local legal requirements and J& J internal rules and regulations. This role is crucial in providing medical and scientific leadership internally and externally. Additionally, is responsible for leading and developing the medical team. Supports and fosters strong working relationships with sales, marketing, research and development, regulatory affairs, external key stakeholders. Implement global/regional projects and strategies that develop, substantiate, and communicate the value of pipeline and new products.

Essential duties of the role:
Management and coordination of the work of the Medical Affairs Department
Lead the medical department and oversee all activities, including projects and people responsibilities, driving continuous improvements to build an environment that encourages and recognizes creativity, innovation, partnership, risk taking and empowerment.
Manages the design and implementation plans of medical affairs program, including identification of critical paths, budget development and tracking of all projects.
Develop a strategy and execution plan that will ensure that local MAF is performed aligned to a regional strategy and global mentorship to improve the value and lifecycles of our products and give to the well-being of patients
Overall responsibility for medical affairs strategic plans including a spectrum of activities such publication of generated data, development of trustful and science-based interactions with KOLs, medical support to relevant marketing pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities, cross-departmental support to other functions such as Market Access & External Affairs, Communications, Payer’s strategy.
Possesses and maintains appropriate medical knowledge within the company area of activities
Close collaboration with EMEA/MSM/CD& B colleagues; exchange information, share best practices, adapt locally other countries projects suitable for local environment
Active involvement in local associations and collaborations

He/she should have up-to-date knowledge and keep existing company procedures and related rules; detailed knowledge of HCBI SOPs and relevant finance processes is a must.
Ensuring safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors
