The Senior Financial Planning Analyst prepares the monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, including analysis, creation of reports and the necessary communication to defined stakeholders within the area of responsibility.
Your responsibilities:
Performing accurate calculation of accruals
Creation of financial and statistical reports and monitoring developments
Providing analysis and commentaries to deviations of standard costs, P& L elements and defined KPIs
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end reporting and closing procedures
Coordinating and performing tasks related to capitalized assets e.g. capitalization of assets under construction
Coordinating and creating Budget and Forecast for the assigned production plant including necessary analysis and communication
Preparing Actual- and Budget-Costing sheet and conducting Product Costing Calculation
Executing assigned controls within the Internal Control System
Collaborating and partnering closely with the local manufacturing finance team and providing support as required, as well as contributing to specific ad-hoc requests and projects
Contributing with maintenance of master data in local IT systems
Following detailed procedures and ensuring accuracy in documentation and data
Our Requirements:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering & management, or related fields of study
Fluency in English and German (oral and written skills)
At least 5+ years of professional experience in Finance & Controlling in an international production environment
Solid practical knowledge of financial management for manufacturing processes
Competency in SAP CO, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint advanced skills also desired
Structured and systematic approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive team player with hands-on mentality
