Position Description: The Business Intelligence Associate, working in close collaboration with the Business Intelligence Manager, will support our Customer Relationship Management system (Elanco Connect) to allow our commercial team to enhance their performance through this tool, including appropriate monitoring of support needs and overall system maintenance. The Business Intelligence Associate will also support the obtention and analysis of sales data, including the delivery of standard and ad-hoc reports. This function will provide frequent support to the sales and marketing teams in Spain and Portugal on Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) related topics and sales reports and will also be involved in the preparation of market data reports as required from available sources (Sinfovet, CEESA, VetEvidence, VMS).
Functions, Duties, Tasks:
Support to Sales and Marketing teams:
- Weekly queries from the sales team about their customers (Spain and Portugal, Pet Health and Farm Animal), such as customers who do not appear in the reports, customer linkage with distributors, customer associations under the same grouping, etc.
- Everything related to key messages (messages used in CRM for marketing campaigns) where sales reps have questions
- Regular updates to the sales team on all SFE metrics so that everyone is able to know how they are doing and have time to act on their results
- Everything related to SFE incidents that affect the qualitative objectives of their incentives: quality of contacts, consents, cycle plans for reach& frequency, time in field, coaching time and coaching reports objectives.
- Sellout data that sales reps don't see in CRM or iSales application.
- With sales managers and brand managers, queries about sales data, verify data with distributors, both sellout and stock data when triangulation does not match the data provided by the distributors.
- Requests from marketing for ad hoc reports, other than standard reports to see ROI of campaigns.
CRM:
- Achieve deep knowledge of Elanco Connect so that proper support can be provided to SFE to maintain the system and implement the required strategies.
- Support in the data readiness of the Elanco Connect data base for business and person accounts.
- Work with Elanco Connect’s reporting system to perform SFE analysis and follow up on the commercial team’s activity, including reports.
- Provide support for the training of Elanco Connect of the sales team.
- Track SFE targets for the sales team and prepare reports.
- Review and approve changes performed on Elanco Connect by users on Veeva Network so data can be modified.
- Create and modify reports on Elanco Connect based on the needs of the Marketing and the Sales team. (Approved emails sent, Database of Vet Clinics, Pet shops with email consent…)
- Create Key Messages aligned with Marketing Campaigns so there can be a proper tracking of the Sell out for each different Campaign.
Business Intelligence:
- Learn the ecosystem of data within Iberia (Sell out, Sell in, Stocks, external data) and the different platform linked between them.
- Direct contact with our external data processing agency to support the process of data collection of sales/stocks, that arrive from our wholesalers.
- Provide support in the control of data quality from our customers (understanding of how data triangulation of Sell out, Sell in and Stocks)
- Relationship with wholesalers and sales team to advance in Sell out automatization project.
- Detect and follow up on data discrepancies, working closely with the sales/wholesaler/Ageinfo teams.
- Develop market data reports as requested from available sources such as Sinfovet and CEESA.
Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):
- University degree, with preference in Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
- Spanish: Fluent
- English: minimum B2 level
- Strong knowledge of Excel and MsOffice in general
Additional Preferences:
- Knowledge in tools such as Tableau, Power BI
- Knowledge of Ms Access, although not a minimum requirement
- Knowledge of Portuguese, although not a minimum requirement
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills / team player
- Encouraging and can-do positive attitude
- Ability to effectively multi-task and analysis
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient
Other Information:
- Travel not required, except for specific meetings
- Location: Warsaw, Poland
- Flexibility to work 30 days per quarter or 3 days per week from the office, and remaining in home office.
