Position Summary

The Activity Aide assists in planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for our residents. This role helps promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being while creating a positive and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, events, and outings
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Help set up and clean up activity areas
• Support individualized and group activities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment during activities

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and genuine interest in working with seniors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, or healthcare is preferred but not required

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Weekend availability required

Compensation

• $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
• Non-Union Position
