Description:

TBEI – Tishomingo is a cutting-edge manufacturer of Class 3-8 truck bodies and truck and trailer hoists. Come join our growing team!

As a Parts Expediter you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of production by ensuring all necessary parts are available for assembly lines as scheduled. You will coordinate closely with production supervisors, purchasing, and other departments to mitigate shortages and maintain optimal inventory levels. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Validate components from bills of materials for upcoming production schedules
  • Kit and deliver parts to production lines, workstations, and staging areas on time
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Identify and coordinate part shortages with Purchasing, Production, and other departments
  • Document shortages using expedite forms and drive timely resolution
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of controlled purchased materials
  • Communicate material status updates clearly with supervisors and team members
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and accuracy initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards)
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste, delays, and shortages
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support production goals
