Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center is hiring a Information Technology (IT) Specialist in Clarksdale, MS. This is a full-time position.

In this role, you will provide technical support and maintenance for computer systems, networks, applications, hardware, software, and telecommunications across the hospital and affiliated clinics. You will work closely with employees, leadership, vendors, and clinical teams to resolve technical issues, maintain system performance, support healthcare applications, and help ensure the security and reliability of critical technology systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide daily technical support for hospital staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and printer issues.Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices.Monitor and maintain system performance, connectivity, and data backups.Respond promptly to IT help desk tickets and provide user education when needed.Assist with Active Directory, user accounts, access controls, and permissions.Support hospital systems including Electronic Health Records (EHR), radiology systems, and other clinical applications.Work with the IT Manager to implement security measures, software updates, and patches to support HIPAA compliance.Assist in maintaining inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and related documentation.Provide technical support for telehealth systems, virtual meetings, and communication platforms.Collaborate with vendors and consultants for specialized support and new technology deployment.Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation for IT emergencies and maintenance.Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies related to patient information and data security.Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Work Experience Requirements Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.Bachelors degree preferred.Minimum of 24 years of IT support experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.Working knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, LAN/WAN networking, and system-security practices.Experience supporting EHR or clinical systems such as MEDHOST, Athena, Cerner, Epic, or comparable systems preferred.
