Job Description
Menasha Packaging is hiring a Isowa Assistant -2nd Shift in Pelahatchie, MS. This is a full-time position.
The Isowa Press Helper assists Press Operators to operate the press to perform multi-operations, such as printing, slotting, slitting, die cutting, folding, gluing, squaring and banding to form corrugated products from corrugated board.
Essential Functions:
1. Set up the feed section, printing dies, ink units, glue system and load former according to customer specification
2. When press is in operation, monitor the feed section, mount printing plates and set up ink units for the next order run, or stack cartons per customer specifications using the load former
3. Scan finished product to verify accuracy and clarity of printing, inspecting for imperfections or uneven edges, and set them aside
4. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Education/Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
Previous press helper experience
Previous machine operator or helper experience
Computer data entry and retrieval related experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
2. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
3. Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
4. Ability to effectively work in teams
5. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
