Maximus is excited to offer a proactive and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality and training functions of a high-impact public service project in a fast-paced operational environment.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive statewide Quality Assurance Plan, overseeing quality operations, and driving continuous improvement to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. The QA Manager will collaborate closely with the Training Manager to design targeted training initiatives based on QA findings, supporting service excellence and performance improvement across all functional areas.
The ideal candidate will currently reside in or near one of the following Mississippi cities: Jackson, Ridgeland, or Yazoo City.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Quality Assurance (QA) department.
- Manage an effective quality assurance program that monitors and resolves issues before they become problems.
- Supervise the development and regular update of policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the need for and ensure the provision of necessary training for project personnel, providing up-to-date information on relevant programs, community resources, and options for consumers.
- Arrange staff training on a regular and ongoing basis. Ensure project training program meets all corporate requirements.
- Provide project leadership with updates on all issues regarding quality, operations, training, and policy and procedures.
- Provide leadership to all staff in the areas of quality improvement as it relates to process improvement, customer service and conflict resolution.
- Prepare reports and briefings for project leadership and review monthly and quarterly project status reports provided to the Department.
- Manage internal and external clients' expectations related to quality management and effectively communicate corporate quality standards across the project.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the project program and requirements to promote contract compliance.
- Monitor all operations and related metrics for conformance with internal, external, contract performance, and quality standards.
- Schedule, coordinate, and report on both internal and external audit functions of the quality management system.
- Schedule and coordinate all the quality and performance monitoring activities of QA staff across the project.
- Aggregate and analyze quality data and suggest methods for improving product and service quality, design and/or business processes.
- Provide feedback on requirements and functional specifications.
- Attend project management meetings and conduct shift/team meetings with Supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must reside in or near Jackson, Ridgeland, or Yazoo City, Mississippi
- Willing and able to work onsite
- Experience supporting Child Support programs is preferred
- Experience with Community Resource Support services is a plus
