If you are an experienced Warehouse Wave Planner looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson, has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Olive Branch, MS, you will be responsible to release, prioritize, and manage workflow through the Olive Branch Warehouse for 1st shift. This position is the primary contact with Customer Service to resolve any delivery issues on first shift. Shift position will most likely be Mon-Fri 1st shift 6: 00 am-2: 00pm

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Create and release first shift waves for the Olive Branch Warehouse in alignment to daily / shift operation plans
  • Handle LPN tickets including printing, distributing, and follow up with supervisors
  • Ensure that work is directed to the production floor to maintain a high operational efficiency and consistent workflow
  • Be the primary point of contact for customer care on first shift. Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Work with customer service to understand hot orders. Analyze inventory positions and coordinate material movement to fulfill hot orders in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate with Inventory Control and Replenishment teams to ensure that material is ready for releasing to meet customer orders.
  • Track customer order processing in the DC and drive closeout of aged orders and exceptions
    • Work with supervisors to ensure that no tasks are more than 48 hours old
    • Work with supervisors to ensure that no delivery is staged/picked for more than 48 hours
  • Validate BOL documentation and sign for first shift shipments.
  • Coordinate special trucks (like AAA Texas pool distribution).
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Participate in annual physical inventory planning and execution
  • Occasional overtime as required
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 6 months continuous experience wave planning/warehouse planning
  • A minimum of 6 months experience using a warehouse management system
  • Ability to promote an environment where individual contributions to quality and cost improvements are increased.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and Saturdays, on occasion.
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in an Oracle WMS environment strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
  • Must have the ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to walk or stand, reach, bend and squat for long periods of time as needed.
