Description:

Essential Job Duties:
  • Perform team lead functions, including ensuring all picking deadlines and priority cut-off times are met.
  • Review daily pick errors with pickers.
  • Ensure all waves are printed, distributed, and picked to meet deadlines while maintaining a first-in-first-out concept.
  • Identify special instructions on pick tickets to comply with salesperson requests.
  • Conduct timely research to locate products and prevent backorders.
  • Help attract and retain a qualified and motivated workforce, fostering new ideas for improvements.
  • Continuously develop direct reports by coaching and grooming them for excellence. Document progress and ensure associates are cross-trained to provide adequate coverage in key processes.
  • Assist with evaluating employee performance, handling disciplinary issues, and maintaining an environment of respect and accountability to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Track and maintain productivity standards, assessing staff, supplies, and equipment needs.
  • Maintain a "Tour Ready" clean and safe work area and secure building/operations at the end of the shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements: (In compliance with ADA)
  • The ability to understand basic English.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, lift, walk, and perform manual dexterity.
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to travel less than 20%.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.

Reporting Relationships:
  • Reports to the Outbound Operations Supervisor.
  • Interacts with internal management staff, coworkers, customers, corporate office, sales teams, vendors, etc.
