POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. TheProgramStaffat Ozarks Regional YMCA ensures thatseasonalcampingprograms meet community needsbyimplementing existing program activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assistin implementation of Outdoor Education program Participate in Outdoor Education training. Facilitate classes and follow curriculum when working with visiting school groups. Facilitate Archery andFirebuildingcurriculum. Run lakefront activities such as boating and fishing Predict, prevent, identifyand respond to safety issues. Communicate with all guests in a mature, responsible fashion. Assistin program development and advancement. Participate in daily cleaning of program buildings as assigned Work in other departments or program areas as assigned. LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES: Collaboration Program/Project Management
