Administrator Assistant Home Health & Hospice Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Administrator Assistant to support the leadership and daily operations of our Home Health and Hospice programs. The Administrator Assistant will work closely with the Administrator, Directors of Nursing, Clinical Managers, and interdisciplinary teams to support regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, staffing, operational efficiency, and overall program performance. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This position serves as an important resource to agency leadership and clinical staff while helping ensure that Home Health and Hospice services operate efficiently and in accordance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements. Responsibilities Assist the Administrator with the daily operations and coordination of Home Health and Hospice services.Support compliance with CMS, state, ACHC, payer, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Assist with preparation, monitoring, and follow-up related to surveys, audits, corrective action plans, and regulatory requirements.Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and assist with monitoring agency quality metrics.Assist leadership with tracking patient census, staffing, productivity, patient satisfaction, and other operational performance indicators.Work collaboratively with Directors of Nursing, Clinical Managers, Medical Directors, and interdisciplinary team members.Assist with maintaining appropriate staffing levels and identifying operational needs that may impact patient care.Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, training, and retention activities for clinical and administrative staff as directed by the Administrator.Assist with reviewing clinical and operational reports and bringing identified concerns or trends to the attention of appropriate leadership.Assist with maintaining survey readiness and ensuring required documentation is complete and available.Support the development and maintenance of positive relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, referral sources, and community partners.Assist with monitoring patient satisfaction and addressing concerns in collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership.Participate in staff meetings, leadership meetings, quality improvement activities, and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.Assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures, workflows, and process improvements.Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Provide clinical support and guidance within the scope of the RN license and organizational policies.Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administrator. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum of three years of clinical or leadership experience, preferably in Home Health, Hospice, post-acute care, or a related healthcare setting.Previous supervisory, management, or administrative experience preferred.Working knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, reimbursement requirements, and accreditation standards.Strong understanding of Home Health and Hospice operations and clinical processes.Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams.Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer applications.Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
