Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality: Midas Hospitality is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Operations to lead the operational and financial performance of an assigned portfolio of approximately 10-12 hotels. The VP of Operations is responsible for driving exceptional hotel performance across top-line revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and overall operational excellence. This leader will challenge, coach, and motivate General Managers and their teams to be proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented while delivering exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, develop strong leaders, build trusted relationships with owners and investors, and consistently drive results. What You Will Be Doing: Lead and support a portfolio of approximately 10-12 hotels, driving results in top-line revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and operational excellence. Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to General Managers and Area General Managers, ensuring clear goals and consistent execution. Champion the Midas culture, creating an environment where associates are engaged, empowered, and motivated to succeed. Establish strong relationships with third-party owners, investors, brand partners, and key stakeholders. Conduct regular hotel visits and operational reviews to identify opportunities, address challenges, and ensure consistent execution. Lead monthly performance reviews and reporting with the Midas SVP of Operations and ownership groups Partner closely with Sales, Digital and Revenue Management teams to maximize revenue, market share, and overall hotel performance. Participate in revenue management calls and ensure effective execution of revenue strategies. Ensure brand standards and company expectations are consistently achieved, including the timely implementation of new brand initiatives. Drive strong results on brand Business Service Assessments (BSAs), achieving scores within or above brand expectations. Drive guest satisfaction scores at or above brand averages across key guest experience measures. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop General Managers and Directors of Sales & Marketing. Conduct formal General Manager performance reviews and establish clear development and performance expectations. Mentor and develop GMs, Area GMs, and other key leaders to build a strong pipeline of future hospitality leaders. Lead the annual budget process with each General Manager and ensure accountability to approved financial goals. Analyze financial statements, identify trends and opportunities, and clearly communicate financial performance and action plans. Partner with Midas corporate teams and hotel support functions to ensure alignment and effective execution of company initiatives. Support hotel acquisitions, transitions, renovations, and new hotel openings as needed. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability, guest experience, and associate engagement across the portfolio. Travel regularly to hotels within the assigned portfolio and as business needs require. The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a proven hospitality executive and people leader with a demonstrated history of success managing multiple full-service hotels. The ideal candidate will have: 8-10+ years of hospitality experience, including significant multi-unit leadership experience. 3-5+ years of above-property, Area, Regional, or Multi-Unit Operations leadership experience. Previous Full-Service General Manager experience is required. Previous above-property leadership experience with full-service hotels is required. Experience managing multiple hotel brands; Marriott, Hilton, and IHG experience is preferred. A demonstrated track record of improving hotel performance, profitability, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement. Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze and effectively communicate financial performance. Experience working with hotel owners, investors, and other key stakeholders. Experience with Food & Beverage operations. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to hold leaders accountable while building strong relationships. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent hospitality experience will be considered.
