What will your job look like?
The Audit Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring MTM’s overall contractual compliance by partnering with various departments throughout the organization to develop and implement long-term compliance solutions. The Audit Coordinator is responsible for providing support to auditors as they complete external audits, validation audits, review operational processes, policies and procedures, and contract management functions. The Audit Coordinator will help oversee and complete external audits, and the monitor, reporting, and validation of corrective action plans.
What you’ll do:
Own internal compliance or performance improvement plans and monitor progress to ensure compliance is achieved
Utilize large datasets to identify potential compliance deficiencies and monitor and maintain audits to reduce or define deficiencies
Develop and implement long-term compliance solutions
Facilitate internal validation audits including but not limited to, conducting process audits, corrective action plan validation audits, audit finding validation audits, and internal validation audits related to the validation of compliance
Create and compile external audit deliverables, providing support to Compliance Auditors
Read, comprehend, and apply contract document requirements, including application of contract verbiage and requirements for the operational processes of the organization
Oversee and complete external audits, and monitor, reporting, and validation of corrective action plans
Compile records, reports, investigation results, and audit findings as requested for external clients and state entities
Report compliance concerns to the Compliance leadership, including but not limited to the Chief Compliance Officer
Assist in compiling summaries of audit investigations, findings, and resolutions as required
Create relevant workflows, audit tools, and tracking mechanisms as assigned
Assist with the monitoring, reporting, and follow-up on Corrective Action Plans as assigned
Assist in the management of company policies and procedures, corporate plans, and the annual review of these documents
Provide recommendations for systematic internal controls and process changes to ensure ongoing compliance for corrected deficiencies; includes assisting in implementation of remediation to address compliance concerns
Manage and/or assist with other internal and external special projects and tasks as needed
Collaborate with other departments and provide education of protocols, processes and procedures
Act as back-up to co-workers as required and cross-train in all department functions
What you’ll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
At least one year’s experience in a compliance or quality role
Experience managing multiple priorities and initiatives with stringent deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
Skills:
Detail-oriented, thorough, and systematic/methodical approach to projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Basic to intermediate understanding of data base/system concepts and/or design
Ability to complete basic to intermediate data analysis and trending
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Regular attendance is required

Salary Min: $47, 920.00
Salary Max: $52, 000.00
