Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Driver to operate a manual-transmission tri-axle dump truck supporting excavation, earthwork, and hauling operations across the Kansas City Metro area. The ideal candidate is dependable, knowledgeable about local routes, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate a manual-transmission tri-axle dump truck safely and efficiently for hauling dirt, rock, aggregates, and construction materials.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and field crews to ensure timely and safe material delivery.
• Adhere to all DOT, federal, and state regulations, as well as company safety policies.
• Keep equipment clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Safely navigate job sites and public roadways throughout the Kansas City Metro area.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A without an automatic restriction – must be able to operate a manual-transmission vehicle.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a tri-axle dump truck.
• Strong knowledge of KC Metro roads, highways, and traffic patterns.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random DOT drug testing.
• Ability to perform essential physical functions, including climbing in/out of vehicles and handling equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
