TheTechnology Divisionis looking for an experiencedProduct Ownerto join our team. AsaProduct Owner, you will report to the Manager ofProduct Managementand promote technology outcomes to meet the needs and expectations of our business partners. In your role, you will foster dialogue and communication between multiple partners and technical experts, encourage collaboration amongst Agile teammembersand lead Agile team planning. Additionally, you will oversee requirements gathering and capture of user stories, maintaina prioritized backlog, and guide sprint and release planning.

You will report directly to amanagerand work with a team that values innovation, independence of views and a diverse and inclusive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work withbusiness andTechnologypartners to develop inspiring product visions, derived from business needs into product roadmaps that are in alignment with business and IT strategies.

  • Interpret requirements, write user storiesand work with technical teams, developers, business analysts, UX and internal constituents todeterminethe details.

  • Be the voice of the business customer, identifyinggaps and opportunities for new capabilities, manages backlog, andprioritizingwork within sprints.

  • Partner withscrum master and technical teams toparticipatein agile ceremonies (sprint demos, retrospectives, sprint planning).

  • Make use of release reviews, usertesting, userfeedback, operationaland performancemetrics, and analysis toidentifyand understandcustomerneeds for products.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with relevantstakeholders.

  • Exhibitsexpertisewithin products’ feature areas and coordinates with interdependent teams to provide product support.

  • Coordinate release activities andmonitorproduct performance, adoptionand operational health.

  • Manage product documentation.

  • Participate in testing as needed.

  • Support overall activities and responsibilities of Product Management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegree orcommensurateexperience.

  • 3+years’relevant experienceas a product owner within an agile team environment.

  • Familiarity with Kanbanor ScrumAgile methodologies.

  • Mustexhibitstrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style and can share technical ideas and approaches with others.

  • Experience usingJirais a plus.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.

  • Travel (5%)

  • Lesser experience can be considered forlower levelrole
