The concrete saw operator is responsible for accurately cutting joints for both cured and green concrete using dry cutting, wet cutting and soft cutting methods. Compete sawing task in a safe, controlled, and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL SAW OPERATOR FUNCTIONS

• Make concrete saw cuts using both dry and wet concrete and soft-cut situations.
• Accurate control cuts on finished concrete pavements such as roadways, runways, and other surfaces
• Perform deep cuts for pavement removals or damaged areas.
• Perform a variety of physical tasks and be able to multitask.
• Experience with using large concrete saws and quickie saws
• Must be flexible with work hours. Working either day or evening
• Maintain equipment.
• Dependable and able to work independently as needed.
• Motivated self-starter to take initiative
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various project sites.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have at-least 2 years of related experience as a concrete saw operator.
• Strong work ethic with integrity and commitment to compliance and team environment.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, walk, stand; Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel within local areas.
