CD Companies is hiring a Architect / Architectural Designer in Saint Louis, MO. This is a full-time position.

ARCHITECT / ARCHITECURAL DESIGNER St. Louis, MO Description CASCO is a leading commercial Design, Architecture & Engineering firm headquartered in St. Louis, MO with regional offices in Edison, NJ, Portland, OR and Tampa, FL. For over 65 years, we have maintained a strong client base in the retail sector and have successfully expanded our market into childcare, assisted living, entertainment, hospitality, healthcare, workplace, restaurant, and industrial sectors. CASCO is seeking an articulate, organized, ambitious, and motivated Architect to be part of our architectural studio team in St. Louis, MO. Ideal candidates must be proficient in creating coordinated sets of design and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit. The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Architectural experience producing commercial design drawings and familiarity with various commercial construction approaches is a plus. Responsibilities Prepare/Create AutoCAD drawings for permitting/bidding/construction useCreate Revit models to produce floor plans, finish plans, ceiling plans, elevations, and perspective viewsMulti-task and prioritize projects based on deadlines establishedCommunicate with the client by providing reasonable solutions, recommendations, and technical informationCoordinate and integrate design with engineering disciplines for a complete set of design documentsOccasional travel for periodic on-site observation, jurisdictional meetings, or facility surveyingReview of shop drawings and construction administration activities Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field2+ years of experience in commercial design is a plus, new graduates are welcome to applyStrong attention to detail, drawing coordination, and quality controlAutoCAD proficiencyREVIT experience will be given preferenceProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal communication skills Benefits We offer competitive compensation packages with premium benefits.
