Culinary Leadership & Guest Experience

  • Steer the culinary direction with flair, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Create dynamic, seasonal menus and specials that resonate with our guests.
  • Deliver timely, high-standard dishes, enhancing every dining experience.

Team Management

  • Build and mentor a cohesive, high-performing kitchen team.
  • Guide staff development through training and performance reviews.

  • Ensure comprehensive training for all team members, covering essential skills and safety protocols.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee purchasing and inventory, aligning with financial goals.

  • Personally oversee high-profile events to ensure perfection.
  • Manage budgets with precision, using data to inform decisions.

Brand, Safety & Compliance

  • Consistently uphold brand expectations in all culinary operations.

Innovation, Sales & Marketing Support

  • Conduct market analyses to optimize pricing and stay ahead of trends.
  • Collaborate on promotions and events to drive revenue growth.
  • Engage with hotel leadership to support broader community initiatives.

Qualifications

Required
  • 5+ years in progressive culinary leadership roles.
  • Commitment to high-quality, consistent food execution.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and inventory management.
Preferred
  • Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience in high-volume settings.
  • Culinary degree or formal training.
  • Expertise in menu engineering and P& L management.
  • Experience in managing events and multi-outlet operations.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Exposure to kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals.
  • Adherence to safety procedures and use of slip-resistant footwear.
