Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Accountant Construction to join the Corporate Accounting team. This role reports to the Corporate Controller and will play a key role in managing the accounting for the construction and maintenance portion of the business. You will collaborate with individuals across the organization to ensure accurate and timely financial results. Manage WIP process and month end journal entries related to construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate month end cutoff, customer billing, vendor invoice posting, project gain/fade reports, and manage monthly pipeline reportsFoster strong working relationships with construction and maintenance operations teamDrive month-end closing journal entry preparation and posting in ERPPrepare bank reconciliationsDrive balance sheet account reconciliation processFacilitate preparation construction and Maintenance related financial reporting thats presented to PE ownership (Morgan Stanley) Drive Lease accounting processAssist with financial statement and insurance audit requestsOther ad hoc analysis and projects when necessary Requirements/Skills Bachelors degree in accounting3+ years of relevant experience in public and/or private accounting; construction accounting preferredCPA a plusExperience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to problem solve and work independently Pay Range The estimated starting pay range for this role is $85, 000 - $100, 000 per year. This good faith estimate is based upon RowCal's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
