Description:

Specific Projects:

Support launch of new manufacturing processes and tooling.

Other Potential Activities (Bandwidth Permitting)

  • Process Documentation: Work Instructions, preventative maintenance records, etc.
  • Tooling assembly / rebuilds
  • Routing updates
  • Time studies for costed routings and project cost justifications
  • Migration of paper documentation to electronic platform (Work instructions, PFMEA)
  • Other manufacturing engineering support tasks as directed

Qualifications:

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Familiarity with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) - Entry level (2D prints and 3D modeling- GD & T knowledge a +)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical aptitude
  • Familiarity with hand and shop tools and their use
  • Previous molding experience preferred, not required
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college / technical program
  • Majors: Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Pay Range: $19-$20
