Job Title: Lead Direct Support Professional - Day Program

Location: Hopkins and Golden Valley, MN and surrounding Twin Cities locations

Schedule: 40 hours a week: Four days a week and every other weekend between the hours of 6am-11pm for scheduling purposes

Wage: $22.00 per hour including Full Time benefits

Essential Job Duties:

• Split time between direct support (approximately 10 hours per week) and office/administrative tasks (approximately 25-30 hours per week), with flexibility based on program needs.
• Support individuals with disabilities in finding community employment and participating in leisure/job-seeking activities at the day program site in Hopkins.
• Provide support to individuals at their job sites and assist with day program activities.
• Maintain enthusiasm and a positive attitude while working with individuals.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including: exploring additional job sites and making community connections, managing documentation, filing, and schedules, and communicating with team members and attending meetings.
• Completing paperwork related to outcomes and program plans.

Required Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Proficient in spoken and written English language
• Comfortable providing personal cares (including but not limited to: bathroom supports, bathing/showering, medication administration)
• Successful clearance of Department of Human Services background check
• Successful clearance of Motor Vehicle Background Check and acceptable driving record per Company Policy

Preferred Experience:

• At least 1 year supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental health diagnosis
• At least 1 year working with individuals with verbal and physical aggressions
• Experience implementing Emergency Use of Manuel Restraints (applicable at select programs)
