Role Description:

  • Provide Company leaders with business analytics and technical insights that inform and help shape system investments to optimize return on investment in Company-wide data management tools and procedures.
  • Lead Company subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze current operational procedures, identify improvement opportunities, and determine specific input and output requirements for projects at all levels of complexity.
  • Conduct interviews and perform analysis to create business cases for complex projects which include ensuring scope, achieving benefits, and meeting business goals including cost objectives.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis to problem solve and identify appropriate actions to improve overall function and productivity with benefit to IT and the business; may guide and coach less experienced IT team members.
  • Prepare and present documentation such as requirements assessments, visual process flow diagrams, plans, schedules, time and resource investment, and deliverables as needed to facilitate discussion and decision making with business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Guide and oversee review of requirements, specifications, test, support, and training plans to ensure alignment with Company policy and business objectives across multiple projects.
  • Proactively develop, plan, schedule, monitor, and communicate system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and other changes to stakeholders, ensuring time and resource allowances for budgeting, process adjustments, end-user education, documentation updates, and other needs.
  • Lead implementation of existing system enhancements and/or new products and applications, engaging stakeholder groups as needed to ensure understanding and effective decision making; oversee and coordinate multiple and/or multi-phased projects.
  • Lead and coordinate testing across stakeholder groups and manage schedule and other adjustments as needed to ensure positive results prior to live implementations.
  • Ensure delivery and accessibility of online user manuals, documentation, or similar reference materials.
  • Ensure file interfaces, queries, and reports that facilitate efficient access to data are created and developed in a timely and effective manner; train and coach less experienced IT team members.
  • Assist users with business reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement security policies and practices within the framework of ISO, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), general Corporate Policies, and specific Corporate IT Policies and Procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of Company computer systems including hardware, software, data, web, and all associated components.
  • Keep informed about existing and emerging system applications and methodologies; perform research and inform stakeholders about alternative solutions as appropriate.

Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or closely related subject area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eight years’ multi-discipline IT experience.
  • Six years’ experience including:
    • Conducting systems and process requirements reviews and creating documentation in consultation with end-user groups.
    • Researching, evaluating, and presenting alternative system solutions including time and resource investments, business benefits, and expected returns on investment for large-scale projects.
    • Partnering with stakeholder teams to plan, schedule, and implement existing system enhancements, file interfaces, and/or new applications with major, cross-functional business impact.
    • Using query writers, project management tools, Power BI, SQL, and/or similar software applications at an advanced level.
    • Communicating advanced systems and process concepts using written and oral communication methods.
    • Supervisory and/or cross-functional project management experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and/or similar software collaboration tools at a proficient level.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in related subject area and/or advanced professional training or certification.
  • Eight years’ experience as described above and in a global high-tech manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this role is $130, 000 to $141, 000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other candidate qualifications. Please note, relocation is not offered for this position.
