Essential to this Position

The Continuous Improvement Intern will be responsible for assisting the Operations Team with projects starting in summer of 2026.

Areas of Learning/Responsibilities
  • Work with operations to identify best practices driving standard work.
  • Assist in continuous improvement A3/Kaizen events.
  • Work with production to understand bottlenecks within processes.
  • Work with peers and other departments to improve safety, quality, and performance.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Support the operations team with other tasks as needed.


Qualifications
  • Ideal candidate will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Operations Management or another related degree.
  • Ideal candidate will be in their 3rd or 4th year of college, but willing to consider other candidates based on prior experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Eager to learn, self-motivating, detail oriented, reliable and strong initiative.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.


This position is not eligible for relocation assistance at this time. This position offers an expected pay range of $19.00-$23.00 per hour, which may vary depending on the candidate's level of education and applicable work experience.
