Description:

As a Receiving Coordinator/ Assistant Buyer, you will manage incoming receipts of materials, supplies, RGA's, etc. and record receipts per standard operating procedures. You will also monitor, and record quality requirements as needed and assume responsibility for the or organization and efficiency of the maintenance, storage and distribution of air and electric hand tools, parts, operations and safety supplies.

What will you do?
  • Maintains and makes minor repairs to air and electric powered hand tools used by production employees including rebuilding, cleaning and or sending to an outside vendor for repair.
  • Picks up parts and supplies for operations, maintenance and facilities.
  • Oversees production materials and safety supplies as needed in each department within the foundry via vending program.
  • Maintains clean and orderly tool and supplies storage area that can be easily inventoried.
  • Timely and accurately inventories supplies and parts as needed and prepares reports as required.
  • Unload all incoming shipments.
  • Check all incoming shipments for physical damage to the product. Report any damaged product to the Purchasing Manager.
  • Review the Bill of Landing and determine if it is the correct documentation for the shipment.
  • Accept the shipment by signing the Bill of Landing and verify the items received against the packing slip.
  • Date, stamp and initial the packing slip/receiving record along with any certification and enter it into QAD.
  • Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development

What will make you a successful candidate?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work 7: 30-4 pm M-F
  • 2+ years' experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
