Summary

Work in the warehouse using a forklift, pallet jack, saws, banding machines, pallet wrappers to get product prepared for shipping. Keep warehouse and product yard clean and maintained. Pull order and stock product and perform general maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Load delivery trucks with product using forklift, pallet jack, and carrying manually.
  • Picking up and delivering plastic tanks and or large items by trailer.
  • Daily maintenance for work vehicle and trailer.
  • Stock products in warehouse and product yard according to product location specification.
  • Keep the product yard clean and free of debris.
  • Cut plastic pipe, rod, hose, and tubing to customer required length.
  • Receives products by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, unpacking containers. Moves product from receiving to designated rack, shelves, or storage bin according to predetermined sequence.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveys orders to shipping department.
  • Open crates, pallets, and other containers upon receiving for inspections of goods received, noting any discrepancies or damaged product to Warehouse Manager.
  • Help out with the general upkeep of the warehouse area such as sweeping of floors, breaking down pallets, organizing of inventory shelves, etc.
  • Maintain safety of building, work area, and other employees by performing all duties within safety established guidelines.
  • Make sure that the walkways and loading docks are clear of ice and snow, by shoveling, applying salt, or sand, for the safety of customers, employees, and company assets.

Requirements
  • Human relations skills, including the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Accurate and detail oriented, with good mathematical aptitude.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating the ability to work consistently and under minimal supervision.
  • Class A license
