Description:

Summary:

This role is to join our Customer Care Service team sharing the critical role of servicing our customers through order entry, purchasing, expediting, and general service and/or administrative functions. This position will also involve new Business Development and working with our Sales team to grow market share. The Associate will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of these functions while being adept at working both independently and with team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for quoting within company guidelines and order entry, including the placement of vendor purchase orders if necessary.
  • Focus on profitability and increasing sales to meet strategic objectives.
  • Accepts ownership of each customer interaction from initial communication to shipment and invoicing and collections, if needed
  • Reviews and monitors each order to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Manage incoming emails and calls from customers and vendors, both direct emails and Sales/AP email portals
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Assist in managing inventory including pulling, counting, and organizing components for custom assemblies and production orders if needed
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Handle RMA's.
  • Work directly with the General Manager and Sales Team to proactively grow sales through business development opportunities.
  • Maintain light accounting and administrative tasks to include account reconciliation, sales tax reporting if needed, and ordering office supplies as needed, etc.
  • Special projects as required.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history
  • Experience in customer service, business development and administrative transaction processing
  • Strong communication skills
