Responsibilities:
Work with T& E leadership and the Business Partnering team to design and implement solutions that target increasing organizational capability and performance related to talent management.
Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with managers and leaders; serve as a trusted thought partner, influencing, coaching, and providing guidance as needed.
Provide strategic consultation and guidance on complex employee relations matters: de-escalate and resolve conflict, coach and guide Bank leadership, division management, individual and senior level contributors.
Maintain a big-picture perspective; be able to link programs and communications in ways that support a cohesive employee experience and promote employee engagement. Work in partnership with T& E & Bank leadership to implement change.
As a member of T& E’s leadership team, actively support the division’s strategic objectives and demonstrate behaviors that advance the goals of the entire team; proactively share information, take ownership of both individual and collective outcomes and build trust with colleagues. Constructively resolve conflicts and demonstrate professionalism.
Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft clear reports, deliver engaging presentations, and communicate complex information through a variety of formats such as briefings, emails, visual summaries, and discussions.
Drive alignment between the business areas and the Bank’s talent management strategy.
Work directly with business line leadership, T& E management, and the Legal division to assess needs and risks; make and carry out recommendations for remediation.
Meet critical deadlines, manage ambiguity, and work with difficult situations as routine.
Partner with T& E leadership and the Business Partnering team to compile and analyze human capital data (e.g., attrition, employee performance, sourcing, workforce composition, leaves) to identify areas of improvement and implement targeted solutions. Work with colleagues and divisions leaders to interpret analysis and inform talent management strategy.
Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and applicable state/federal laws.
Review, revise, develop, write, and implement policies, procedures, practices, and programs in partnership with T& E leaders and the Legal division.
Identify Human Resources trends, best practices, and benchmarks and develop and implement strategic improvements.
Manage the delivery of automated solutions in the support of human resources functions.
Lead or contribute to special projects or initiatives and Federal Reserve System workgroups.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8 years of HR-related experience with a comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures or 10 years of leadership experience with a working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and issues (e.g., employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee training, manager relations, and policy administration.)
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of human resources professionals while fostering teamwork, confidence, and respect.
Ability to conceptualize from big picture down to detail level and generate innovative solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an ability to effectively write reports and present information in an easily understandable way.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects effectively to successful and timely completion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in data analysis and data reporting.
Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS system preferred.
The full salary range is $142, 300-177, 877-213, 500. The expected starting salary range is $150, 000-175, 000. Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
