Description:
The formal organizational job title for this position is: Business Analyst. There is one vacancy, the position may be filled at either the BA III level or the BA IV level. To be considered at either level, you must meet the required and relevant type of experience and years of experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide intermediate to advanced analytical support for Financial Institutions and the Federal Reserve or other federal agency staff and management in resolving routine customer, operational, and business issues. Ability to research and resolve intermediate to complex questions or problems.
Lead or assist department training function identifying training needs, preparing documentation, delivering training, collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver accurate and complete training.
Lead or assist in completing or organizing special assignments, studies, and analyses.
Lead or assist in the analysis and review of business functions and operational process improvements and/or enhancements. Lead or assist testing, training, and implementation efforts.
Lead or assist in preparing and/or revising communications, including proposals, reports, and presentations.
Lead or assist in developing and revising procedures, defining processes, and delivery of training to external and internal users.
Collect, prepare, process, analyze, research and balance data processed into the appropriate accounting systems.
Participate in and perform intermediate to advanced analytical tasks for projects in support of the Federal Reserve or other federal agency initiatives. Projects often involve coordination and communication with other Federal Reserve business lines or other federal agency management and staff.
Contribute to daily operational work, project teams, and work groups.
Monitor and verify compliance with applicable customer accounting and billing policies, procedures, and standards. May assist with monitoring status, identifying trends, and preparing reports on quality measures, performance metrics, or other department goals and objectives.
Assist with managing, coordinating, or conducting activities related to identifying and managing department risks, such as COSO control documentation and completion of security assurance risk management process.
Support other FSO areas as needed.

To be considered for a BA III level: Required Education/Certification and Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or related fields AND five (5) years of directly related full-time work experience or equivalent combination of higher education and/or experience.
To be considered for a BA IV level: Required Education/Certification and Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or related fields AND eight (8) years of directly related full-time work experience or equivalent combination of higher education and/or experience.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, the following are highly desired:
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures and AS5/COSO controls and procedures.
SQL, SharePoint Online Owner, Experience generating reports and queries from databases
Microsoft Suite: MS Excel, Access, and Word, Teams and PowerApps: Power BI, Power Automate, PowerForms, Tableau, Visio, Learning Management Systems, Docusign Administration.
User Acceptance Testing experience.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers supported by the FSO NACS function.
Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment in the use of confidential or sensitive information pertaining to external and internal customers and operations.
Demonstrated analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills, along with attention to detail.

Full Salary for Job Profile Business Analyst III: $82, 100 - $102, 675- $123, 200
Full Salary for Job Profile Business Analyst IV: $102, 900- $128, 575- $154, 300
