Description:

We are in search of a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team in Chanhassen, MN! In this role you’ll lead a team responsible for supporting manufacturing processes, completing cost-reduction initiatives, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to develop and implement innovative, cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Success in this role requires a strong focus on safety, product quality, and team leadership!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Project & Capital Equipment Management: Oversee engineering and capital equipment projects, including equipment feasibility, selection, justification, and implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Design teams to support new product development, process improvements, operational goals, and manufacturing challenges
  • Production Support & Capacity Planning: Lead the design and optimization of production lines, layouts, and fixturing to meet output, cost, and quality objectives while establishing scalable manufacturing capabilities that support future growth
  • Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation into manufacturing processes to enhance safety, improve product quality, reduce costs, and drive innovation
  • Budgeting & Performance Metrics: Develop and handle a capital budget, define and track engineering KPIs, and identify cost-saving opportunities through process and technology enhancements
  • Global Manufacturing Consistency: Ensure alignment of manufacturing processes between global sites to maintain consistency in safety, product quality, and lead-times

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination
  • Change management experience, especially in scaling operations or implementing new systems
  • Experience with cost reduction initiatives and data-driven decision making

​Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $117, 000 - $165, 000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.​
