Job Summary: Responsible for meeting customer needs by meeting daily job or work schedule:
- Thoroughly cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies to all restrooms.
- Ordering all necessary supplies for bathrooms and break rooms.
- Maintaining clean lunchrooms including microwaves, water cooler, etc.
- Cleaning the Shop Locker Rooms, including sinks and floors.
- Checking, filling, ordering and restocking the first-aid kits in the facility on a monthly basis or as needed.
- Maintain clean and orderly corridors, hallways, and other work areas.
- Empty wastebaskets and haul trash to dumpster.
- Clean floors in production area using floor sweeper.
- Other duties as assigned
Tools Used: Industrial cleaners, motorized floor cleaning equipment, mops, etc.
Safety Equipment: Safety glasses, safety shoes with metatarsal guards, ear plugs, blood borne pathogen cleanup kit etc.
Environment:
Office areas and production floor is a heavy industrial atmosphere including exposure to mechanical and electrical hazards, grease, oil, dusts, dirt, heat, humidity, fumes/odors/mists, sparks, heights, occasionally cramped quarters, and awkward positions
Job Requirements:
- Ability to manually move materials up to 50 lbs. through regular moderate physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending.
- Ability to work in a variety of positions including but not limited to standing, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, and turning. Most of the work is completed on concrete surfaces.
- Must operate motorized floor sweeper and pass our forklift training.
- Ability to accurately read and follow label directions for cleaners used.
- Ability to work independently at a reasonable pace and within our quality standards to ensure timely completion of responsibilities without retraining. Must work overtime as required to meet internal customer needs.
- Must be a team player working with co-workers, other departments and/or other TBEI facilities. The focus is on meeting company goals and initiatives.
- Ability to learn operations within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet job schedule, team needs or to meet any safety recommendations.
- Must work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completion of tasks and must work overtime as required to meet customer needs.
- Must work in a safe manner following safety procedures, including: wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), completing maintenance requests and communicating hazards to co-workers and management.
- Completing and complying with annual Hazardous Waste Management Training for waste management, storage, transport and record keeping
Additional Job Information:
- Wage Expectations: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
- Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F, Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays. Work shifts are flexible vary based on candidate availability. Typical schedule is 1: 00am to 11: 00pm.
- Location: On Site – 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal MN 56055
- Travel: Very minimal to none
