Team DescriptionHealth Plan Division Project Management Office (HPD PMO), under the Sales and Account Management organization within Express Scripts, defines and maintains standards for project management within the organization, for both client specific and internal organizational initiatives. The PMO strives to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects. The PMO is staffed by client facing Project Managers that will serve to provide broad support across Client Service Teams (CSTs) with tactical oversight and skilled project management support.
Role SummaryHealth Plan Division Client Facing Project Manager will:
- Serve the HPD organization for multiple CSTs/ Health Plan accounts by leading the work and deliverables of multiple, cross functional client specific and internal organizational projects/programs, from inception through implementation, that impact multiple processes, systems, functions and products.
- Mitigate client/member risks and internal risks through comprehensive understanding of all downstream impacts of project/program components and partner with CST members and applicable downstream partners.
- Ensure the project/program is a success, client intent is met and ESI clients receive superior service to ensure overall satisfaction of project/program and aid in the overall client retention.
- Participate in creation of best practices/standard processes
Key Responsibilities- Develops joint project plans to support client specific and organizational deliverables and milestones.
- Reviews and tracks status of work streams, responsible for project risks and issues management to closure and provides project updates to leadership and partners.
- Collaborate with Product partners, IT, and other key business partners to ensure client intent, business needs and goals are being appropriately prioritized and remains on track
- Act as consultative client liaison between all ESI functional areas and client contacts (including client, TPA, broker and /or consultant parties).
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to both internal operational functions and client to mitigate project risks to all parties.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Be client facing and represent client on internal calls and project core team meetings.
Qualifications (Required)- Ability to lead multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously including monitoring and tracking of progress and status update communications by using good time management and priority identification skills
- Ability to quickly learn project landscape; create a project strategy and plan that identifies dependencies, gaps, risks, and issues.
- Able to navigate scenarios that are not clearly defined and establish a satisfactory resolution path. Assists others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project plan. Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate people and teams cross functionally to resolve complex issues with designated time frames. Proven ability to manage project team without direct reporting/disciplinary authority over his or her team
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively influence key decision-makers.
- Strong focus on client satisfaction and client retention/growth
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Self-Learner/Self Motivated - identify and coordinate SMEs to determine process/project tasks
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal; individual and group; client and internal
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including training delivery.
- Influences change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ability to adapt to ESI proprietary systems
- 2-5 years relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Willingness to accommodate minimal travel requirements as needed
Preferred Qualifications- 3-5 years of experience working with ESI Systems and/or operational processes
- Account Management/Client Services experience
- Process Improvement experience
- Project Management Certification (PMP)

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89, 300 - 148, 900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
