Boys And Girls Clubs Of The Twin Cities is hiring a Corporate Giving and Special Events Coordinator in Saint Paul, MN. This is a full-time position.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Corporate Giving and Special Events Coordinator is a key member of the development team. Working closely with the VP of Advancement, this person is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of corporate donors to support the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs Twin Cities. The Corporate Giving and Special Events Coordinator will assist the Special Projects Director in developing, implementing, and supporting new and existing annual events including: For the Kids!; Great Futures Fair; STEM Jam; and third-party fundraisers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Corporate Giving: Assist VP of Advancement in securing new, renewed, or increased funding from corporations through annual partner program, special events, proposals, and face-to-face solicitation.Assure accurate and timely acknowledgement, reporting and stewardship.Build and maintain positive relationships with corporate partners and community stakeholders.Plan and execute steps for donor identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for corporate givers.Work with AVP of Advancement to establish revenue goals for fiscal year and benchmarks and regular reporting processes to measure results of all corporate activities.Work closely with communications team to develop and manage consistent messaging to donors and prospects that align with solicitation and donor-specific stewardship communications.Strategically manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects.Organize, coordinate, and manage the recruitment of BGCTC Corporate volunteer groups.Work with social, civic and local organizations to develop partnerships, where appropriate, to develop and/or utilize volunteers (Hands On Twin Cities, corporate groups, recruitment fairs, U of M Engaged Learning Students, etc.).Manage Kids Can Give annual holiday gift drive in November & December - Create online gift registry - Secure gift and cash donations from corporate partners and community supporters - Coordinate the gift sorting day for Club staff and manage gift deliveries by community partners - Recruit & coordinate corporate volunteer involvement at all Clubs hosting holiday stores in December - Create communications for email, website, and social media Perform other duties as assigned Board of Directors: Attend and take minutes at full Board of Directors meetings and Executive Board meetings.Provide support as Board Liaison to the West Metro-North board team. Special Events: Working with the Special Events Director, organize and coordinate fundraising special events including For the Kids!; Great Futures Fair; STEM Jam; golf tournaments; and third-party fundraisers. Work collaboratively with events staff to plan and execute annual donor cultivation event(s). Assist in planning scope and format of events. Create and track event budgets. Maintain communication with current supporters and research new sponsors and donors. Solicit silent and live auction donations. Track ticket sales, sponsorships, cash donations, and auction donations. Maintain and update event software, OneCause. Manage event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting. Manage event-day volunteers. STARTING DATE: Immediately.
