Boise Cascade has openings for Material Handlers at our Lakeville, MN location. Current opportunities for forklift operators and Engineered Wood (EWP) Cutters.

Monday - Friday, 7am start time. Starting pay is $20-$24 per hour depending on experience + bonus. EWP Cutters receive $2 differential.

No weekends, great benefits that start day one! Full time. Enclosed Forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, select, and load materials
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
• Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
• Maintain clean working area
• Use Chainsaw and package materials (Engineered Wood EWP Cutters only).
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
• Perform daily safety checks on forklifts
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic:
  • High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
  • Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
  • Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
• Preferred:
  • Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
  • Familiarity with building materials
  • Able to measure and calculate material lengths

Work Environment:

• High traffic warehouse and yard
• Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions
