What You'll Do

As an IT Support Technician I, you'll be the friendly face (and voice) our team counts on for professional and timely technical assistance. You’ll respond to calls, emails, and tickets, providing both remote and on-site support with a focus on first-time resolution. From setting up and maintaining computers, mobile devices, and peripherals to training employees on applications, you’ll ensure everyone has the tools they need to succeed. You’ll also help maintain hardware/software inventories, support process improvements, and contribute to special projects—all while documenting your work and delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring

  • Commitment to Safety: A strong dedication to maintaining a safe environment -both physically and mentally- for yourself, your colleagues, and customers
  • One or more years in a technical support role assisting customers by phone or in-person
  • A two-year degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of networking, computer hardware, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory user management and Group Policy
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, email, file and print services
  • Understanding of interfacing with an issue tracking system used to create, update, and close trouble tickets and generate reports
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical users

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following defined procedures

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience supporting a mid-sized computer network
  • Experience working in a technical field role; such as been employed as a help desk technician
  • Experience with tools such as cable crimpers, Ethernet testers, Wi-Fi analyzers, etc.
  • CompTIA A+ certification

Your Schedule

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8: 00 am to 4: 30 pm, ; may need to work outside there hours to meet department or company needs.
